Art Williams

Originally a somewhat shy kid from Amarillo, Texas, Art moved around a lot in his early years because his step-dad was in the Air Force.

He went to high school mostly in Arkansas and undergraduate school at Northeast Louisiana State College, in Monroe, Louisiana where he majored in Music Education and took ROTC.

ROTC got him a free trip to S.Vietnam where he began to see the world is a big and fascinating place. Art liked S.Vietnam and stayed for a few years selling cars in the PX and later working for U.S.O. Clubs in Saigon.

After coming back to the US in 72, Art got a graduate degree in international business but for some strange reason which he doesn't fully understand either, wound up working in New York City in the auto parts business.

Eventually getting bored of that he went to southern Louisiana and worked in the oil field service business for about three years. He finally realized that his future wasn't in that business either so he went back to Amarillo, TX. and got into direct sales. That's why he's not shy anymore.

Since that time Art has been in several different industries including auto sales, auto parts, advertising, sales training and the motivational speaking business.

In 1985 Art started his own mobile windshield repair business in Houston, Texas and did pretty well for several years because he liked the outdoor environment and the public contact of the business.

Business conditions change however and the mobile windshield repair business became less lucrative. Art began to feel 'the call of the road' again. He 'almost' married a girl from Colombia.

After his mom in Houston died Art stumbled across an opportunity to teach English in S.Korea where he presently is presently finishing his third contract and is getting ready to....do something else.

Art is a Christian and politically is somewhere between Libertarian and Republican.

Art's takes every advantage of the opportunity to dance anywhere he's at. Korea has been good...for salsa dancing. Other than dancing, Art is interested in building his online consulting business. He enjoys sharing tips and tactics with offline business who want to make more of the opportunities on the net.

He specializes in writing website copy and email autoresponder messages that generate sales and build brand and customer loyalty. Other projects Art does include video and social media marketing and writing white papers.

Art's ultimate goal is to build and maintain his laptop based consulting business and cultivate a global lifestyle while traveling, living abroad and discovering the world's best salsa clubs.
