If you're like most people, you don't think of going to the dentist as a vacation, do you?
Probably not. Even I don't....and I really don't mind gong to the dentist that much. I've been 'pained' a hell of a lot more by doctors than dentists. At least dentists can give you an anesthetic injection that really doesn't hurt. Whereas doctors will use a needle big enough to kill a horse to deaden your finger.
But what's really worse, i.e. worse than the physical pain, about going to the dentist for lots of people nowadays is.....the cost. Dental work ain't cheap!
Lots of people don't have dental insurance. So they don't get regular checkups, right? And you know what that means....RIGHT? (insert off-camera diabolical laugh).
Well, if you happen to be one of those people who need some expensive dental work right now, this just might be an incredibly unique solution to your problem. Especially if you live in the southern US.
I'm talking about 'dental vacations'.
Yep.
The fact is, you can have quality dental work at drastically reduced rates, compared to US prices, if you're willing to go south of the border. I'm talking places like Mexico, Costa Rica and several other countries down thataway.
Combine it with a vacation and you'll often still come out cheaper than you would have for the price of the dental work alone in the US. And if you pick one of the near destinations to get your dental work done, like Monterrey, Mexico and forgo the vacation part of it you'll save even more money.
